A wholesome whole wheat bread made without refined flours or dairy products. This recipe makes 3 loaves of bread intended to be a week's supply. The white wheat flour and vital wheat gluten allow for a light texture. This recipe can also be made with 100% stone-ground whole wheat flour for a heavier texture.
One of the most delicious sandwiches that I have ever made. Choose Kohlrabi bulbs on the small side, green or red. Blanching and shocking greens removes all potential bitterness. A very satisfying lunch.
