This is a favorite at our house. If you chop the ingredients in advance, it's quite quick, too.
This has become our household's favorite recipe. It's quick, it's easy, and everyone loves it. I like to serve it with jasmine rice.
I "invented" this recipe one day when I was going to make turkey enchiladas but discovered that my frozen leftover turkey was, in fact, pulled pork. A few adjustments to the recipe, and some improvised homemade red sauce, and a new family favorite was born.
Found this recipe at the grocery store. It's quick, easy, low cal, and delicious!
This gives a yummy alternative to commercial energy bars. It's a bit high in fat, but they are healthy fats, and it makes a great snack while hiking or biking.
This is actually "the ultimate spinach" but since you need the steak drippings to make it, we may as well turn it into a whole meal! :-) This meal is very high in iron and protein.
I made this recipe as an "experiment" after I had a tooth pulled. It came out so well that I will definitely make it again!
Your prep time will be shorter if you buy cooked and detailed cocktail shrimp.
Note: I did not sautee the onion, but just ground it up in the food processor with the shrimp. It was fine, but the onion was a little crunchy and I think it will be better sauteed.
Questioning all my friends on how to cook turnips led me to this recipe. You better believe I'll be buying turnips again! Yum!!
This is not the lowest calorie recipe in the world. To save some of the calories, you can not eat much of the sauce. It is really good over noodles or rice though. ;-)
These are kind of high caloric as side dishes go, but they are reeeeealllly yummy, so I think that they're worth it. Diced ham would work just as well as Canadian Bacon. You can add more meat to them, and have one as a meal.
This would be even better with a thin whole wheat crust, but we used what we had.
Spicy low cal low fat cheese sauce. Strong enough to even cover the taste of cauliflower, which is a necessity in our house.
Our favorite sauce, made low calorie by using Splenda instead of sugar.

The weather is due to get cooler soon, and this is a wonderful hearty soup to have as a meal.
I made this up as I went one day, to use up some mushrooms before they went bad.
A non-yogurt smoothie with no added sugar. Frozen banana takes the place of ice, so it's not watered down. Really yummy.
This is no way kung pao, but it was given to me with that name, and I don't recognize it any other way. It's quick and yummy.
This is soooo yummy. As tender as a filet, but without the price tag.
(Note that the calorie count is somewhat inflated, since most of the marinade gets thrown away, rather than consumed.)
