Recipe I got for Leftover Turkey....made healthier....you can add more cooked veggies if you like
to substitute buttermilk ad 2-3 tsp of cider vinegar or lemon juice to mmeasuring cup then add milk substitute (plain soy light) to make 1 cup and let sit 10 mins
Great make ahead casserole....can be made lower in fat (use canadian bacon or turkey sausage) Good for Tailgating. Got this recipe out of newspaper and made it healthier.
I use splenda instead of sugar & she uses soba of whole wheat noodles
Came from Ellie Krieger Turkey Shepards Pie topping. I always make my mashed potaotes this way now. I calculated with soy milk and margarine (husband is allergic to dairy)
