Recipes I've Shared:
I use home canned cubed venison and canned tomatoes. This is a good way to use up those garden tomatoes and zucchini. If you do not have canned venison, you can brown about 2 pounds of cubed venison along with the onion and garlic, then add the ingrediants as normal. I like to serve my soup with homemade bread out of the bread machine.
This is a good for you soup that is easy to make and very tasty.
This is not really a diet recipe, but a family favorite handed down. You can substitue ingrediants as desired to lighten it up. I serve this typically with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt, or whipped cream.
These can be made healthier with non fat milk and margarine instead of 2% and butter. You can also use natural peanut butter instead of the creamy. These are so simple to make and kids love them.
This is an easy healthy chicken skillet dinner. Great for those busy weeknights.
This is a healthy fill you up soup that I came up with one day when my daughter had a cold. I use a frozen onion and pepper mix for convenience as well as a whole grain rice blend that includes brown and wild rice with soft wheat and rye berries.
This is very handy for those rush around weekday breakfasts. This dish has the staying power to stave off the late morning munchies. I have also used a mix of dried fruit in addition to the raisins. I double the recipe to fit better in my large crockpot and have a quick breakfast all week long. This can be topped with chopped nuts and extra soy milk to taste.
Enjoy.
