These are great for a snack if you are on a low carb/high protein food plan. Two or three with a salad would be great for lunch.

Super low carb "Spaghetti" with Bolognese Sauce.
The cabbage is a surprisingly tasty replacement for pasta.
This is extremely tasty. If you can't find Moroccan Seasoning use 1 1/2 tsp each of dried cumin, coriander and 1 tsp each cinnamon, ginger, allspice, black pepper and ground cloves. Vary the amounts according to what you like.
You could also use stewing chops or Lamb shanks for this recipe.
Also if you do not like Rutabagas (Swedes) alternate with Parsnip.
These do not rise very much (@1") but are extremely light and tasty.
You can also place this mixture into a greased and lined 8" (22cm) springform pan and cook for @ 40 minutes.
This is a really tasty meal that can be served with crusty bread if liked. Even meat eaters will like this
Great served with pasta or a piece of crusty bread.
This can also be made in the slow cooker.
You can also add grated butternut squash for extra sweetness as well as frozen chopped spinach or grated zucchini. These will bulk out the sauce as well.
This is easy to make with what you have in the cupboard and very delicious
The sugar overcomes the bitterness of canned tomatoes, you could use stevia etc. You could also substitute the light cream for low fat evaporated milk, but be careful not to boil
Passata is a finely blended tomato sauce, if you can't find it in the stores replace it with another 2 cans of tomatoes.
If you want to make these vegan, just substitute the cheese and egg white for vegan alternatives. You can use any nut you please and they can be ground if you do not like pieces of nut in the sausages.
Serve with a Carrot and Sweet Potato Mash and Sauteed Leeks, they go together perfectly. Both of these are listed in Sparkrecipes
These were very light like pancakes. You could use any cheese you like, goat cheese or yellow cheese, I used the feta and it was lovely. You could serve these as a light lunch with just a little chutney or with a salad for a meal.
Make sure your paprika is fresh as it can be bitter if stale. Try to grate the Parmesan with a microplane grated it will make it go further.
This is a sweet curry that children will like. You can use any vegetables or fruit. I used leftover BBQ chicken or you can use fresh chicken breasts. It's even quicker with pre-cooked rice. You don't even have to add meat.
I love Chicken Soup, but don't always have the time to cook it the traditional way from scratch. This tastes great in just a fraction of the time.
This is a great recipe for leftover chicken. You could also use ham or turkey instead
Don't let the tofu put you off, this tastes wonderful.
You could also add a packet of frozen stir fry vegetables if you wanted a larger vegetable serve.
I know this is a little high in the sodium, but it includes the sauce and mayo topping.
If you want to make it vegan substitute the egg with egg replacer.
These are really low in fat and carbs and can be served in a bun or with a salad. Very tasty.
Will spread if you use the George Foreman Grill, normal skillet is fine.
This is based on a recipe from "Simply Recipes.com". It is a great way to cook corned beef.
I have used full fat Danish Feta because it is creamy, but you could use low or no fat Feta if you wish.
It sounds like an odd combination, but it works. You could lightly saute fish fillets and top them with the pesto then the grated cheese if you so wish.
NOTE: These are a soft fishcake so do not put into the George Forman Grill.
This has Tuna listed in the ingredients, it does not make the lasagne "fishy", if you want vegetarian leave out the tuna and add another vegetable ie eggplant, butternut etc.
This is a complete meal. It is a really tasty and sweet casserole which is so easy to cook
This is an adaptation of Susan Voisins' recipe at Fat Free Vegan. It is so creamy and tasty you would never pick it for Vegan.

This is very juicy and satisfying. You don't even miss the bacon. If you don't like mushrooms, omit and sprinkle with balsamic vinegar.
This is ridiculously low in fat and calories. Generous portions that are very fudgy like a brownie.
The cottage cheese melts through, but if not liked you could use ricotta or sour cream. Check nutrition amounts if changed.
These are not exactly low fat but are very satisfying. If wanted you could use fat free sour cream and cheese. If you change the herbs, these are great with chilli.
You could use any type of fruit in this.
I usually serve this when we have something simple like soup for dinner.
These have a delicate taste, if you like muffins with more spice add nutmeg, cinnamon or mixed spice.
This is a really hearty dish that goes well with mashed potatoes and steamed green beans.
To make it really low fat, leave overnight and skim any fat before reheating.
These are a lovely light muffin. You could also use any jam or jelly you like (even diet marmalade), or change the peel or juice. To make it even lighter use half white and half wholegrain flour.
This is such a simple and very tasty casserole. There is no reason why you couldn't use chicken, turkey, beef or pork, the sauce goes well with either. Add whatever vegetables you wish and vary the herbs to your taste.
You could place ingredients into a slow cooker after step 3 and cook for required time depending on your cooker.
A vegetarian version of Chicken Kiev, and just as delicious
This is made with Kidney Beans but you could use any cooked bean. If you want to make it vegan, use vegan margarine
For those who don't like cottage cheese, it melts through this when it is cooked
This is surprisingly filling and very tasty.
This is a very fresh and colourful salad. I use the stalk of the broccoli leftover when I use the heads.
These are great in a hamburger bun, in pita pockets or for a main meal with vegetables and a mango salsa
