I always make my own chicken broth after roasting a whole chicken. This can be done in a stockpot or a slow cooker. I use the slow cooker alot for the simple convenience. After dinner, I remove all the meat off the bones and just throw in what's left with some veggies. This way it gets to cook overnight and I strain it and store it in the morning. It's so easy, so cheap, and much better than the store bought versions.
I use this as a substitute for McCormick's Beef Stew Mix. It's great and a whole lot cheaper!
A quick easy meal with lots of flavor.
This is a moist, tasty pork chops that the entire family will love!
I use the Costco pork chops which are super thick. If you are using smaller cuts, you can 1/2 the sauce recipe.
Serving suggestions: We spooned about a tablespoon of the sauce on each pork chop when served. This goes great with brown rice and broccoli.
This is a great recipe for crockpot enchiladas. The family raves about this recipe and asked that it be in the normal rotation.
You can substitute 93% lean ground beef instead of sirloin for a few additional calories. You can also use a packet of taco seasoning instead of the seasonings listed, but it will increase the sodium in the recipe.
My entrire family loves this soup so much I make a double batch and freeze individual portions for a quick meal later.
