Recipes I've Shared:
I heard about this recipe on NPR and wanted to create it here. I added the garlic. Haven't really tried it yet but wanted it for my food tracker. I will probably add a pinch of salt and maybe some fresh chives when they are available.
This is an adapted version of NEGRITA9's version of Brown Rice, Tomato, and Basil. It has less sodium (which wasn't listed in the other recipe at all) as the rice is cooked with out it. It also eliminates sugar which my husband doesn't like in salads. You could cut the oil down some to make it less caloric but I haven't tried this.
Moist and Chocolatey! I based these on another sp member recipe, added cocoa powder and replaced some of the white flour with soy and wheat germ to add a little protein and make it a bit healthier. I used a DeMarle flexible muffin pan so these are easy to remove from the pan.
May be used as a salad dressing or a marinade for salmon. I based it on the Sparkpeople recipe for Salmon on Greens with Lime-Ginger Dressing.
