This is a yummy and filling soup for phase 2 easy to pack for lunch.
This recipe is from Racheal Ray TV show.
This very thick, rich soup is made to celebrate special occasions, such as New Year's eve and special family events. This recipe was adapted from the Smithsonian Institution's, 1995 Festival of American Folklife Cookbook. Recipes for the book were contributed by American Cape Verdeans who are active in preserving their cultural heritage. The Cape Verde Islands are located about 300 miles west of Senegal. Many Cape Verdeans migrated to the New England area.
I just looooove the flavor of the Oriental flavor ramen, but don't want the MSG or high salt. Here is a copycat that tastes just like it, without the sodium. I use it in everything now, and add salt to taste.
This is an Incredibly good clone of the real thing.
Great in pasta's and chicken
This recipe is pretty free form, but to alter the taste alter the paprika or the cayenne. To make this even better (if you can get them) grind dried ancho peppers into a powder and use them in place of the cayenne.
This recipe came from a card that was handed out with my weekly Weight Watchers materials. It's comfort food for 6 points per serving. Note: substitute turkey for chicken if desired.
