This is corrected - flour is 2 3/4 not just 3/4 so sorry! It was correct in the nutrutional info.
Now, let me say first, I am not claiming this is a "healthy crazy good for ya" bread. It's just plain good and is better for you than most store bought HFCS breads. :)
I am posting this since I have close friends who eat this bread every time I make it and they need access to the info.
This has quickly become my FAVORITE dinner.
When asparagus is in season add it!
Really good with quinoa, couscous, or brown rice.
You can use chickpeas as well - my gilrls don't like them so I switched to great northern.
I like a lot of curry - use as you like
I do use Chicken broth or Veggie Broth - both are equally good. Of course you should go with the Veggie if your a vegetarian. :)
The infused oil is an extra step but makes a big difference
I like to serve this with some of my homemade bread.
Tastes even better as left overs!
I use 1 cup Bread flour to soften the bread - makes a better sandwich. You could use all Whole Wheat if you prefer
My DH was craving Taco Bell so I made this up to appease him...it worked!!
my orginal recipe called for coconut oil - some folks love it some think it's terrible. Use whatever oil you like. I have altered the nutrition info to reflect using Land o'Lakes light butter with canola
