This recipe has been a family favorite for over 30 years, and I usually serve them on Hanukkah. However they make such an excellent side dish, my family often requests them throughout the year. These are delicious!
I have modiefied this recipe from the tradional recipe I used for many years to use to be Gluten free (to accomodate my recent allergy rotation diet) by illiminating the usual wheat flour and substituting with potato flour-without sacrificing any taste or quality. I actually believe them to be tastier with the potato flour than the traditional recipe.
I think this pie tastes so much better with much more lemon, and much less sugar than you find commercially available.
Plus PILE ON THE MERINGUE (I use less sugar here too in this recipe)-don't be stingy with it, it is so light and low in calories, why skimp on this wonderful topping.
Coupled with an Almond meal pie crust instead of wheat flour greatly reduces the carbs in this pie if you are watching your carbs!
A delicious and wonderful addition to your holiday meal, or any special occasion.
This recipe is super low in carbs, and Gluten Free. It is made out of Ground Almond meal-no grains at all.
It is super moist and dense-you will love it.
It can be made with regular Lemons too if you cannot find the Meyer Lemon.
Yields very hearty, healthy pancakes. This recipe should be put in the Breakfast Category, but was not available on the pull down menu.
This recipe is very allergy friendly as long as you are not allergic to Oats.
A lighter version of one of my favorite dishes. Falafel is usually deep fried. But this baked recipe has all the flavor without the extra calories from deep frying in oil.
This healthier version of Cashew Brittle is made without corn syrup or sugar. It is a sweet treat that is actually good for you.
A very satisfying Vegetable main dish meal.
Delicious, Wholesome, Organic and Alkaline.
These pancakes are both delicious and filling. No one will leave the table hungry.
A simple, wholesome sweet treat, that is Alkaline in nature.
These treats taste better than candy!
You can Modify this recipe to reflect the summer bounty from your vegetable garden, or farmer's market.
This recipe MAKES A LOT of Ratatouille.
Luckily it gets better as it keeps in the refridgerator, and freezes well.
A very low fat baked version of a favorite fried recipe mediterranean recipe.
It is packed with all of the flavor, with none of the additional fat used in the fried version.
This is a very heart smart, Vegetarian version of Starbuck's Pumpkin loaf.
This recipe yields 2 good sized loaves.
An easy stove top side dish that is good any time of the year.
