Trying to make a lighter sweet potato souffle. This is not a light recipe, but it's a little better than the first one I tried! This was more like sweet potato pie filling. Good, but it probably isn't very presentable as a souffle. i might totally fill a low carb pie crust with it one day tho.
This is not a low calorie nor a low carb recipe, but it will be a bit better than the typical sweet potato souffle.

Inspired by a Wegmans recipe, I made a couple twists and turns. This is a pretty darn healthy comfort food! Sweet tasting, and so simple!

Super chocolatey, dense, and filling. Not quite as Heavenly as a brownie, but a very suitable replacement in my opinion.

.com/ - Great stuff there. I lightened this up a little, made it easier on myself to digest (dark meat vs. light) and adjusted the veggies to better suit DH's taste (whose nose still scrunched up at the peas. lol)
Tilapia filets topped with a parmesan cheese based mix then baked or broiled.
This is SO easy and so tasty. It has a touch more sweetness than I usually find in bean soup. I think it was the use of honey ham, baby carrots, and a dash of liquid smoke that made it exceptional to me.
A wonderful alternative to ice cream or a boring old protein drink.

Cross between a muffin and a cookie. Very dense. Very filling. Easy to make.
A little bit healthier than regular banana bread.
I love curry, and I love egg salad. I mashed em together. Voila. This is VERY heavy on curry. If you like less seasoning, you might wish to cut all the spice amounts in half. Or, you can vary them to your liking. This is a tough one to mess up!

My invention of the Italian Almond cookie using Nature Sweet (maltitol.) NOT LOW CAL. These are very chewy and best to eat when completely cool.
Inspired by Joeknees cheeseburger soup recipe, this is what I imagine to be the lazy version. :)
If DH wants pasta and you don't, this enables you to please him without having to pick the pasta out of yours. Still a little high in calories. Had some trouble finding the exact chicken and sauce brands I used. Look for an update.
