Great as a filling lunch or light supper. I use deli thins instead of pitas and I use Tastefully Simple taste of india rather than all the other spices. easier for me.
My grandma never taught me how so I taught myself and I think I did a pretty good job! This is a large amount as I make it pretty much for the week. You can definately pare it down.
Made from Giada De laurentis. Super easy but I would cut back on the oil. And make sure the pasta is al dente or your whole dish ends up mushy.
Easy and delicious recipe for "fried" rice. this was from weight watchers, the only difference is that I don't use the scallions. Great to add other veggies in to!
Made this up trying to figure out what to do with what i had in the fridge. Came out a winner for my kids and I. you could really throw in any veggies you liked. frozen stir fry veggies would be great. You could make this dish even healthier and use brown rice.
I wanted shepherds or cottage pie and had to make due with what i had in the house at the time. We were all very happy with the way it turned out. If you play around I am sure you could lower the fat, but it is nice and low in calories and high in protein, very filling.
Another weight watcher rehash. they wanted you to use sour dough and i used their wheat bread which brings the points value from 8 to 6. I also personally only use about 1/2 teaspoon pesto on only one side bread.
Delicious and low in calories. Rehashed from a Weight Watchers recipe. 5 points as prepared this way
I was in a bind and used real butter when I made this, but to cut back on calories and fat you should use smart balance or something similar, and you can always use less to taste. You could even use butter flavored powder!
My take on a sloppy joe. My husband loves this version and says it has the taste of a manwich but much better! Cost effective and a lot healthier. Add a whole grain sandwich bread, I highly recommend Arnold's sandwich thins. It will add 100 calories but also some fiber. Pair with a nice green salad.
Super easy combination of chicken, corn, black beans and salsa that can be whipped up in a flash for lunch. Can be used in tortillas, add to lettuce for a quick taco salad or just eat with tortilla chips. High on protein and low on fat!!
20 minute meal taken from real simple magazine. could easily use cooked shrimp or dried parsley in this recipe to save time, just note it may change nutritional info. Real butter saves on calories, but you could do this with any buttery spread, once again it will change nutritional info.
