I use these to top my Chicken Tortilla Soup and any extra we use with salsa later on. I say it makes 10 servings so that each person has a whole tortilla but I use about half that amount to top soup!
You may serve with deep fried corn tortillas, sour cream, cheese, etc, but note that none of those items are included in the nutritional information. I like this soup just the way it is on a cold night! Love it!!
It is very high in sodium but there are ways to cut that if you prefer. This is just the quick and easy version for a weekday night. You can cook your own black beans or eliminate them all together. Choose no salt ingredients, etc...
This sounds like the goofiest recipe ever I'm sure, BUT my family loves cheese garlic bread and tonight I was out of, well, most bread!! So I used what was on hand and we enjoyed it!
This is a really yummy tuna spread that is similar to a hummus spread!!! I calculated 3 Tbs. per person as a snack, allowing it to serve 6.
You can do so much with this recipe. Add mushrooms, peppers, olives, more cheese, less cheese, etc!! Great as a single dinner or cut to make appetizers.
My kids love chocolate milk and a friend gave me this recipe for cream puffs. So I started making it instead of buying store bought syrup to save on money and my husband loves this one!! Especially as an indulgence on frozen vanilla yogurt!!
I use this recipe in many ways! I'll use it for tacos, nachos, quesidillas, etc! Have fun with it.
** The toppings and cheese are not included in the calorie calculation!
This was another recipe I threw together with things in the fridge and surprised myself. I really enjoy it!! It is higher in sodium but it's one of those recipes you can adjust to taste and give and take on. Add more broccoli, fresh tomatoes instead of sun dried, add garlic, less feta more mozzarella.... etc!! Just have fun with it!!
Just a quick lunch idea I threw together one day with items on hand. My 2 year old even ate it!! :)
Makes 4 servings, but some may eat 2 servings. I usually serve with spanish rice and serve one egg each.
This is a tangy dip with a lot of flavor. You can use shredded parmesean (not grated like Kraft) if you don't care much for Asiago.
It makes approx. 2 1/2 cups and a serving is about 2-2 1/2 Tablespoons. It should serve 16 pretty well.
This is just a little change on a PB&J. It's best with butter flavored Pam, but I used regular Vegetable oil Pam one day by accident and it works just fine.
