We've never used it as a dip. Always with a fork or Scoop crackers as a quick lunch to impress friends. It's like a 7 layer dip with no beans.
When the produce drawer is left with just midgesof leftovers veggies, new elbows and tuna give stuff you've been looking at for a week, a whole new taste. Enjoy a full 1/2 cup serving with crackers or up it to a cup with carrots for a full meal.
This makes about 3 quarts of salad, so serving sizes can vary widely. I've used 6 so that it's easier to do a main dish or a side. It's beautiful enough for guests and the flavor is the best for those who like a strong blue flavor. You can save time by not making the gingered walnuts, just using halves.

Spicey change to the norm - we always make as a side to our Super Sloppy Joes. This one can be ready to eat in just 20 minutes or refridgerate for up to a week.
Homemade, from scratch is what makes this sauce so sweet & good. Make a double/triple batch and freeze for later use. A serving is calculated as one open faced sandwich. Served with a pickle and the Deviled Potato Salad I've also put on the web site makes a great meal - Retro at it's best
Highly seasoned w/ith no egg/sugar/milk/salt. 15-20 minutes start to finish
Using real Gorgonzola and no Cream this is still super creamy and rich with room in our meal plan for the pasta.
Full of flavor they make any plain sauce taste homemade in an Italian kitchen. Small so easy to maintain calories and FREEZE well for months. Defrost by placing in hot sauce.
Fantastic flavor as presented or change simply by adding basil, thyme, etc. under the cheese so it doesn't burn. Crusty topping over a soft hot tomato ... wonderful
