Recipes I've Shared:
This is an easy, light, delicious recipe that's low in fat, calories and even time!
I just took the box recipe and substituted egg substitute for the eggs and applesauce (natural) for the oil.
This isn't exactly the way it's made but the program won't let me put in "odd" amounts of ingredients, so the nutrition calculator will be a bit off.
Definitely not low-fat or low-calories, but a family favorite at the holidays! I tried making it with low-fat cream cheese and they weren't very good...
This is a spin-off of the Chili's Southwestern Egg rolls. Instead of deep-frying the filling, you put it in a tortilla and make a quesadilla.
I've been tweaking this recipe for a while, and it's pretty good, although I'm still trying to reduce the calories a little. We also cut the slices pretty thick around here, so you can do better if you cut into 12 instead of 10.
I made these using the box mix but substituting nonfat milk for regular. I thought they were great, although the kids weren't AS excited!
I took the box and substituted healthier stuff for the additional ingredients.

I kind of made this up, although there are lots of versions of it out there. My family really liked it, so it seems to be a good fit!
This is my lower fat version of typical Greek Spaghetti/Meat Sauce. I use turkey instead of beef and salt is really to taste.
Black beans replace the oil and eggs, making these higher in fiber and lower in fat.
I found this recipe online and it's really good but I need to find a way to make it a little less fattening. At least my husband and youngest son really enjoyed it!
This is a slightly lower-fat and calorie version of the SparkPeople Broiled Tilapia parmesan. I simply used reduced fat parmesan and light mayonnaise, and it still tastes GREAT!
These are great pancakes from the Bisquick HeartSmart Box. I use nonfat milk, reduced fat Bisquick and a few other ingredients that make my kids happy and still lets me enjoy a treat without ruining my diet!
I got this recipe from Allrecipes.com and hope to make it less fattening in time. I wanted to make it the first time to "try" it and see if the family would eat it, and it's really good, but now I need to make substitutions with fat-free soup.
By using low-fat mozzarella slice and barely a dash of salt, this is as healthy as possible with something whose basis is bread. Unfortunately, wheat type breads just work as well or taste as good. This is still a nice appetizer if you're entertaining and won't throw off your diet too much.
I haven't tried this recipe using lower-fat butter, but everything else is healthy. It's a little high in fat but my family loves it, so I'd like to find a way to make it a little less fattening, because it's really good.
I got this from a Weight Watchers cookbook but had to make some changes!
