This is our new favorite in place of plain cranberry sauce at holiday gatherings. Sometimes I add chopped walnuts too, but these are not included in the recipe here or the calorie count. Everyone loves it!

My grandmother's recipe - she used to call this rice pudding, but it is really more like a cake. Wonderful! Great way to use leftover rice. Serve warm or cold.
Green lentils are much nicer in this recipe than the more common brown lentils. This recipe is a great source of Vitamin A and Potassium.
This wonderful recipe uses dry beans so the sodium count is very low. It is very easy to make, and is absolutely delicious.
Once you have homemade macaroni and cheese, you will not go back to the box! This is pure comfort food. Worth indulging in once in a while.
This is an easy one pot work night supper. It is also a good way to stretch 1 lb of ground beef and use up leftovers.
WOW! These are the best turkey burgers/ meatballs I have ever found. They are actually very flavorful and even my SO who really dislikes ground turkey admitted these are good.
I wanted to do something different with a bag of dried Pinto beans. My family loves baked beans and I love the crock pot! This is delicious! I hope you agree.
This is easy and delicious! Very filling. Prep time is about 15 minutes, but you need to allow additional time for the beans to soak and soften as well.
Easy and delicious. Serve with egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
Consistently good and easily adaptable! You can use oatmeal or wheat germ in place of some or all of the breadcrumbs and/or fiber one cereal grounds.
This is a quick and easy weeknight supper. Put in the crock pot before work and come home to dinner! I serve it with instant brown rice and broccoli on the side (INCLUDED in recipe calculations). The recipe calculations are for 4 oz servings but you can double that and still not have too many calories for dinner!
Creamy and delicious - a little hot and sweet. You can add 2-4 oz of cream cheese or evaporated milk if you want it to be milder, but I don't. It is wonderful and so simple to make as is.
This is super easy and delish! Put it in a larger crockpot (5-6 quart size) before you leave for work and it is ready when you come home. Plus you will have leftover roast to use another night in a stir fry. Try it!
Best tuna noodle casserole ever and it takes less than 30 minutes to prepare and serve!
I had an abundance of zucchini in the garden this year. This recipe used one large one (about 1-1/4 lbs) and was a big hit! I would even make this for a light Sunday night supper. My son suggested adding ham next time and slicing tomatoes over the top. It takes some time, but can be prepared ahead. Try it!

This is so easy to put together and takes less than 20 minutes to cook. Great work night supper. We serve it over brown rice and it is very satisfying.
There is nothing like fresh caught bluefish! It is an oily fish and as with all game foods, needs to be prepared in advance of cooking for best results. The soaking is well worth it!
This is a delicious party dip that travels well and serves a crowd. Serve with blue corn tortilla chips for something special.
I have a large family, so this recipe is perfect for the 9 of us, but you may want to cut it in half. The peppers I use are huge and should serve 2, but my husband and boys can eat a whole stuffed pepper themselves!
Best ever oven baked recipe for "fried" chicken! I put a pan of vegetables to roast while chicken is baking (carrots, cauliflower, beets) and everything is done at once. Very yummy, quick and easy.

I made this soup to use vegetables left from a party tray we had. It was quick and easy and my family loved it! I hope your family enjoys it too.
I made this soup to use up some cauliflower and broccoli left over from a vegetable platter we made. It was a big hit with my family and I hope your family likes it too.
