Recipes I've Shared:
My husbands favorite lasagna turned into casserole. This is a great way to turn one family sized meal into three meals for two.
Who needs to go out for chicken parm? This recipe is easy, low calorie, low fat and you can freeze half for another night!
Zone friendly breakfast or lunch.
Lately I've noticed that I've been unsuccessful with my diet because of my major chocolate cravings. I could tear through a large bag of peanut butter M&M's in a day. I don't even want to know how many calories that was. To help keep my chocolate cravings at bay, I created this smoothie recipe. I have one every morning and it's really helped to curb my appetite for sweets. If you've never used Vega before you may want to add a little bit of sweetener (I originally used Agave Nectar but Honey will do as well) and a little bit of Cocoa powder. Taste the smoothie before adding these though because the sweetener will add more calories. Enjoy!
I have this smoothie practically every morning for breakfast. You could mix this up and substitute mixed berries, strawberries or raspberries instead of the blueberries.
The filling here can be replaced with your favorite veggies and cheese, and you can increase the amount of quiche batter for larger pies using this simple equation: count 1/2 cup milk for every egg used. The recipe will also work in a prepared piecrust.
A low fat vegetarian version of a classic.
