These muffins are also called "60 day muffins" because the batter can be mixed up and stored in the refrigerator for quite some time. Just take out enough to make the number of muffins you need at any one time. I usually make half a recipe, however.
Not exactly real healthy, but when you get to craving it, it's worth indulging in once in a while.
This is a German dish that my mom found in a cookbook years ago and has fixed for our family ever since. It's great!!
