Serve with warmed flour tortillas, additional salsa, or sour cream! Nutritional Info calculated for the recipe as a whole.
This recipe qualifies as "Paleo" nom nom! Enjoy!! I think they would be better with ketchup or some sort of dipping sauce.

An excuse for eating cupcakes in the morning, these get a velvety texture from sour cream in the batter. Supposed to make 6, I made 12.

Chicken sausages? Don't laugh. They taste awesome. Look for them in the refrigerated sausage case of most grocery stores. And while you're in the store, snag sliced onions and peppers at the salad bar.
From the Grit Cookbook.
Serve a think, toasted slice with soup or with jam for breakfast. Its combination of savory and sweet flavors will have you sneaking back to the kitchen for one more nibble.
For nutrition calculations, it is for the whole loaf. You figure out the nutrition info based on how many slices you cut it in. My loaf was larger than the 10 servings they suggested.
I had to alter the original ingredients a little based on what I had on hand. :)
This is an adaptation from a Runners World Recipe found in the October 2007 Issue. I calculated the nutrition as ONE serving. So when you enter it into your food planner, divide accordingly. I.e. if you make this into two waffles, one serving would be .5

Omitted the bun and the Root Beer Sauce - nutrition facts are just for the meat.

Easy and fast. I would definitely make a half recipe though, the full recipe will be plenty for a family of four, but for a couple, it's a bit much.
Makes 4 servings.
Serve with 1 cup cooked rice per person, but log that separately.
Better Homes and Garden's Cheese and Basil Polenta
Sort of a pain to make, but really creamy and yummy... kind of like lasagna. Make it at night when you have time to kill and it's a breeze to pop in the oven the next day for an easy dinner.
Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals - Veggie Meals
pg. 91; Make Your Own Takeout
Took me longer than 30 mins (shocking) because of the cutting and stringing of the snap peas.
Nutrition facts do not include the bread or wine she mentions in the cooking instructions.

The restaurant La Tupina in Bordeaux, France, serves a soup that's slow cooked for hours. The last fe delicious spoonfulls are combined with red wine and swallowed back. These are my kind of people! This is an adaptation my way, minus three hours and thrity minutes. This peasant can't wati!
