I just through this together but I really liked it so I thought I would share. I don't toast the sandwich thin but that is surely an option I will try in the future. This is extremely filling and easy. May add some hot salsa next time for some kick.
The Apple mixture is from KDA1981. I have made this with all different kinds of fruit and it is scruptious! Left overs are just as good though not as crisp once refrigerated.
This is HARV47's recipe but I downsized it for those of us who have smaller families.
Thanks HARV47
Lady apples are not to be confused with Pink Lady Apples. Lady apples are small, approximately 50g or 1.5oz. about the size of a half dollar.
Easy, quick meal full of veggies. Can add spices to your own liking. I add Mrs. Dash table blend and some crushed garlic.
I wanted to do something with my left over turkey so I through this together and it came out great.
