I use this as a snack cake or for strawberry shortcake. It is a tender snack-like cake that is even good alone. My husband piles strawberries on top. Nutritional values are for cake alone. I make this gluten free with a mixture of rice flour, tapioca flour and potato starch. You can also use rhubarb in this recipe instead of the strawberries. This makes a 9 in square cake or you can use 12 muffin cups.
