crockpot venison vegetable soup

I used ground venison that we make ourselves with no fat. Adapted from Emeals.

Frutti Di Mare from Rachel Ray

My husbands favorite dish in Italy. Adjustments made: whole wheat pasta for angel hair pasta and frozen assorted seafood inc. octopus instead of clams, mussels, and shrimp. Nutrition should be fairly accurate, a little frustrated with ingredient list.

Lower Sodium Black Bean Burgers

My search for a lower sodium black bean burger. I had to add a little salt for flavor. I did all chopping with the Pampered Chef chopper.

Thai Peanut Sauce

Recipe is from Family Circle Magazine, March 2011. Original recipe called for low fat peanut butter. I am using PB2 to reduce calories and sodium.

No Milk Pudding Fruit Salad

A favorite for family gatherings and everyday!

Sausage & white bean stew

This is a recipe I picked up from the Kansas City Star.

Light Ice Cream Sandwich Cake

Very easy. This recipe has been around, I got it from my sister then adjusted ingredients to cut the calories quite a bit. Add whatevery you want to dress it up. I usually sprinkle a crushed candy bar or nuts on the top.
