Hot summer days often reduce our inclination to cook - and our appetites as well. Try this simple tuna pasta salad - add more veggies & make it your own!
The second type of slumgullium (some spell it slumgullion) that's also a long time family favorite.
Our family has two types of slumgullium - both big favorites! Serve alone or over rice or with good bread to sop up the juices.
Years ago I first learned about a frittata from James Beard's "Beard on Food" using leftover potatoes.
When I started to make it, I did a lot of variations. One thing I kept is putting it under the broiler at the end. Crunch City!
Feel free to substitute egg beaters or egg whites, margarine, and/or low fat cheeses. Omit onions if you don't like them.
This tasty & attractive dessert is a crowd-pleaser! You could substitute lite cream cheese & lite cool whip (with a bit of taste reduction).
Easy to make - tasty to eat. Eat on/with romain or spinach for more color & crunch!
