Easy, tasty soup that is very basic and easy to customize. All seasonings are to taste, so make it as spicy and flavorful as you want! I usually use more cilantro than I put, but that's because I can't get enough of it. Makes 6 servings.
This may not be the lowest in calories, but it does include fruit and nuts. Serve it in a lettuce wrap and you have a low cal, well balanced entree.
Another good dish that uses quinoa. You can vary this to make it as spicy or mild as you want. I use ground cumin and red pepper flakes in addition to the ingredients listed.
This is a Gooseberry Patch recipe that I altered by using whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose and 2% milk instead of buttermilk.
A healthier version of oatmeal raisin cookies.
I made this up when I needed to use up some pasta, canned tomatoes, and canned chicken. It tastes pretty good and is very low fat.
This is a great dish that is very healthy and easy to make. It may be too spicy for some, but you can customize it to fit your tastes.
Simple, tasty, and filling. A healthier version of Paula Dean's Spinach and Bacon Quiche.
