Made with Colman's Shepard's Pie Mix, found in the UK section of the International aisle at Meijer's supermarket.
Preheat oven to 480 F. It will be turned down later in the cooking process. Cooking time will depend on how hot the water is that you use and how small the pieces of potato are.
As with everything I make, I just sort of threw this together, so amounts of herbs aren't exact. Just keep adding them until it tastes good to you! Also, I use fresh mozzarella because I like the mild taste and chewy texture.

This only takes about 3 1/2 hours on high in the crock pot. I recommend using a good quality meat, or it may turn out too tough.
This is a very hearty and tasty stew for a cool autumn night. It's so simple to make, too. Just put the first 4 ingredients in the cooker before work. When you get home, it will only take about 1/2 hour to get dinner on the table!
