Family loved this. Very Good.
This is a nice hearty chili and so simple to make. It has become a family favorite!
Flour is actually 3 Tbsp. flour but that was not a choice when enering info.
Healthier version of my original french toast. It was about 1/8 c. fat free milk and 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract. Would not let me enter fractions in the ingredient panel.

10-12 hours LOW or 3-5 HIGH
Originally called for 3 Tbsp. Brown Sugar but I lightened it up this time with the Splenda Brown Sugar Blend. I'm going to try it in the Crock Pot this time on low for 6-8 hours
I like this for a change of pace for breakfast. Mom's recipe was all sugar and not substitute, but shouldn't make a difference in the batter.
This is a recipe that was printed in the Indianapolis Star Feb. 17, 1963. Heloise printed it in her column as one that was tried and true and requested alot, and boy was she right. It is delicious. Thinking of trying the Brown sugar Splenda to lighten it up even more. Nutrition info is based on regular brown sugar. Recipe didn't state number of servings so I'm just guessing there. Ihave just found this recipe and made it only once so far, but my family also said it was their favorite.
This original recipe was retrieved from the back of an Open Pit Barbacue Sauce bottle about 25 years ago. I have altered it slightly.
This is from a bottle of Open Pit BBQ Sauce from about 30 years ago. I have lightened it up with extra lean ground beef, fat free milk, healthy whitewheat bread. Has been a family favorite.
