We like things spicy, so this is how I make it. I don't expect anyone to make it this way. I typed it up because my husband and I need to count our sodium and carbs and this was the only way I could post it on my meal plan. If you make this, you may want to use a packaged spice mix instead.
I have also added cinnamon, bananas or berries to the batter before cooking. I usually eat them plain but sometimes serve them with fresh berries.
This is a healthier version of a cake I used to make. I used whole wheat flour in place of white, and I used Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking in place of 2 cups of sugar.
