A favorite variation of cake mix cookies.
For lowfat cookies, substitute unsweetened applesauce for the oil.
The full-fat version is yummy, but has 6 whole eggs, 1 stick of butter, and regular cheese.
This version eliminates much of the fat but retains most of the flavor.
A custardy main dish macaroni and cheese with ham. High in protein, reduced in carbs and fat versus many mac & cheese recipes, but tastes great.
Slightly cakey textured, very low fat and low sugar peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.
Based on the recipe from Land O'Lakes, but uses margarine for a totally different texture.
Adapted from Yahoo's Eatingwell website by replacing peanut butter with PB2.
Totally yummy!
Spruce up regular old granola with chocolate--and an extra 7 grams of protein! Eat it with milk, use as a topping for yogurt, or snack on it plain!
The best bread you've ever tasted for a ham or turkey sandwich.
This is my adaptation of a recipe in the book Bean Cookery by Sue Deeming, ©1980. It is so good it needs to be shared. :)
The ultimate in rich, decadent, delishishness!
(I added them to my recipes to remind myself of the nutritional info--it's scary--makes the black bean brownies on here seem like a good option.)
A nice sweet treat for those who are watching their fats and sugars.
I know the creamed corn sounds a little yucky, but trust me, it just thickens the soup and makes it hearty—your kids will never know it’s in there!
