This is a wonderful dish. Remember to NOT peel the cloves of garlic, this way you can use them like butter and "pop" them out onto crispy bread, to have with the meal. Do not be afraid of using too much of the garlic either. As long as it roasts slow it gets a nutty flavor...so...
Sometimes you just have to use real BUTTER and this is one of them. You can make it with margerine but it tastes a bit different.
