Adapted from a Betty Crocker recipe. HIdes, really hides, an extra serving of vegetables! Completely kid friendly.
This is a very simple version that's been handed down for a few generations now. I've modified it a little to make it slow cooker friendly. Can be served on its own or over egg noodles.
So easy to make and always a hit. Good with tortilla chips on the side, but not included in nutritional info.
Received the stamp of approval from my Korean roommate. Good over rice with Kim Chi or dikon.
Good both warm and cold. Healthy, just spicy enough, filling and really good.
This is a staple in our household. All measurements are approximate and feel free to adjust to your taste. I like to marinate it for a couple hours but should be at least 30 minutes. Very flexible. The sauce goes really well with mashed potatoes too.
Really tasty, which is surprising since the recipe doesn't sound like it's anything special. Made the house smell wonderful and even my must-have-meat boyfriend wanted more.

While not a gourmet by any means, I do pretty passable weeknight meals. My emphasis is usually on ease, taste and, of course, health. There is no recipe in here that I haven't personally tried and really liked.
