Yummy Chix Salad for an anytime meal. You can lower fat and calories by using low or fat-free mayo, I make homemade because it has more flavor.
Store bought mayonnaise may be convenient, but it's usually made with soybean oil and often with added sugar. Homemade mayonnaise is delicious, especially spooned over steamed vegetables. Use it to make tuna, shrimp, or egg salad or as a base for dips or sauces such as Tartar Sauce and Rémoulade. See additional variations below.
Make It A Flat-Belly Meal: Serve with 1 and 1/2 cups cooked multigrain pasta (300) tossed with 3 sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil (30) and 1 and 1/2 cups fresh spinach (9). Total Meal: 399 calories
This spread works well for those who travel, just bring reduced-fat triscuits and pop into your mouth.
Great dish with veggies to boot
Good for a filling Breakfast. Serve with ww bread, Oscar Mayer turkey bacon, and fruit. You can make all of this ahead of time and you are set for 4 days. This can be made with fat free cheese and add any other veggies you like.
