Full of colorful and nutritious veggies, and less than 130 calories per serving! Based on Jenny Jones original recipe, we tried ground turkey instead of beef and we LOVED it!
Jenny Jones Look Good, Feel Great cookbook calls for long-grain white rice in this recipe, but we use brown rice for a healthier option. You can do yours either way. This is a great dinner and makes a good amount of food, so it's perfect for leftovers!
From the Jenny Jones Look Good, Feel Great cookbook, page 72. We eat this with her Fish and Chips recipe, and it's really, really delicious! Full of great, colorful, nutritious veggies, and with a delicious dressing.
From the Jenny Jones Look Good, Feel Great cookbook, pg 128-129. Very, very light and very, very tasty! For fish and chips that isn't heavily breaded or fried, this is incredibly satisfying. We like it with a little bit of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce, and I like it with lemon. Goes great with the Jenny Jones Antioxidant Slaw, as well.
We got this from the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, although we substituted turkey bacon and fat-free cheddar instead of mozzerella. Our recipe came out about 30 calories less per serving.
This recipe comes from the Jenny Jones Look Good, Feel Great Cookbook. It makes a really good side and helps to fit in a LOT of good vegetable nutrients into your dinners. Jenny Jones' recipe also calls for fennel, but we made our batch without it.
From The Better Homes and Gardens New CookBook, Limited Breast Cancer Edition, page 427.
This is an absolutely delicious meal! We make it for special occasions and romantic dinners, but it's quick and easy so it will work for any meal!
This comes from the Hungry Girl 200 under 200 Cookbook, pg 46-47. We used fat free cheddar instead of mozzarella. It's really quick and easy, very tasty and really low calorie.
From the Hungry Girl 200 under 200 cookbook, pg 168-169. My recipe came out a little differently, calorie-wise, possibly because I used fat-free black instead of refried beans .
