Grandma's regulators. You can make the batter and store up to six months, making a fresh pan when needed
I needed dinner and found the ingredients on hand. Decided it sounded like dinner.
Coffee cake with almost a dessert bread twist. 15 min prep, 30 min rest, 40 min cook
I also use the ham bone, but I have no idea how to add that to the calculator. Low sodium and tasty.
Few ingredients, a bit of prep to get the dry beans ready, very little sodium.
I used left over chicken, but you can use turkey, canned chicken, etc. I tend to top with lettuce, salsa and sour cream.
Nice salisbury steak in traditional tomato sauce. Very easily converted to brown gravy. Don't add the tomato paste and add some flour or corn starch to thicken the sauce in its place.
3 ingredients -2 dozen cookies. Quick and easy cookie fix without all the cookies for the cookie jar.
A low sodium make at home meal. I generally use this recipe to use up those leftovers. Any leftover meats get cubed and added.
A low fat, low sodium tasty dinner. This is a relatively dry stew that can be served on a plate. If you like your stew to have a bit of broth, add water as needed in the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Low Sodium version of the hamburger helper classic. I serve it with a nice garden salad.
This can be made using canned or leftover poultry or tuna. You can also substitute store canned biscuits for the dough.
This is wonderful for fresh or frozen berries. You can change out the berries or the jello flavor for a variation. I have also made this using multiple berry combinations. Always a crowd pleaser.

| Low Sodium with Loraia I tend to cook from 'scratch' because the doctor told us if we didn't stick to a low sodium diet, I would be a widow. Prepackaged tends to be high sodium. So I learned how to cook all over again. |
