These are great little snacks that pack protein without the fat and sugar of most protein bars out there. Great for those days I don't have time to eat breakfast!
Came up with this one night when I really wanted spaghetti, but didn't want the calories or the beef. adding the rotisserie chicken bones does something awesome to it. i actually serve this with brown rice most of the time, and i like it even better than pasta!
This is a simple, but delicious side that can be transformed to fit any meal. Hope you enjoy!
This is an indulgent pasta that is still within the calorie limits for most diets, even if you serve yourself a little extra ; )
I eat this as a main dish, it has plenty of protein and fiber to fill you up, I only had chicken base today, so that is what I used, but it would be great with vegetable base instead.
Easy Slow Cooker Chili that is also really budget friendly. Add low fat sour cream, green onions, avocado, or low fat cheddar for toppings!

This pasta gets a minor flavor boost from leftover red wine that has been frozen in an ice cube tray. You can definitely add more veggies too, like fresh tomatoes or asparagus
Really delicious soup on a cold day or if you are sick. My go to soup when I want something comforting but healthy. Add other veggies like mushrooms, peas, or corn to change it up if you'd like.
The cut fideo is a mexican pasta used for "sopa seca" and is really inexpensive. It is found in most supermarkets in the ethnic foods section. There are other fun shapes like stars or alphabets too that you can substitute.

This is my favorite meal when I want pasta but can't have it. This feels so rich and hearty, but it is low in fat, calories, and carbs; but high in fiber, potassium and deliciousness! P.S. It also freezes well when assembled in layers. Feel free to swap the beef with ground chicken, pork, turkey, or even tvp.
These are soo good! The tofu, beef, mushrooms, and water chestnuts combine so many textures it makes eating these fun. It is easy to change up the flavors and calories by substituting the ground beef for other ground meats like chicken, pork, shrimp, or textured vegetable protein. Double the portions to serve as a main
Got this recipe from the local gourmet grocery store bakery. I love the tangy flavor of the cream cheese. I used this to frost raspberry cupcakes with fresh raspberries and blueberries on top
