A family favorite that can be made early in the day and then let it simmer all day. It's great for those days when family member eating times vary.
This is a family favorite taken from God Medal's Alpha-Bakery Cookbook. We have halved the oil with applesauce.
Altered from a cookbook favorite. I substitute carrots for some of the other veggies. Also freezes for reuse on busy days.
I try to watch my salt intake. Simply by mixing a jar of no salt sauce with my favorite flavor of salted sauce I am able to cut in half my salt intake.
Uses 1/2 white and 1/2 wheat flour. Freezes well. Can be warmed up in microwave or crispier in the regular oven.
