These are the toppings I use for a Philly Cheese Steak pizza.
This is the recipe off the back of the new Fleischmann's Pizza yeast package. But I have reduced the oil from 3T to 2T. It is really really good with 3 so go ahead and use that if you are not cutting back so much on calories.
Nice curry dish for the cold weather. This is rather americanized so even my picky DH will eat this. Quick and easy if you already have the rice and chicken cooked as I tend to do.
When I found low fat coconut I knew I wanted to make coconut custard right away. If you can't find it at your store, just recalculate with your own coconut instead
A great dinner, similar to lasagna but not so heavy. Good for using up garden zucchini
Hearty mildly spicey soup. Great on a fall evening with whole grain bread on the side.
This is a very tasty, healthy topper for toast, muffins, pancakes.
This recipe was figured using home grown stewed pumpkin. It was reasonably cooked down and thick but not as much as canned would have been. In order to use canned, I would use less, probably 4.5 cups and cook slowly for less time. End result should be nice and thick like apple butter
This is a fabulous soup, healthy and decent without too much fat or carbs.
Good summery way to use up easy to grow spaghetti squash. Lot of other good fresh garden veggies can also go in
This recipe is the result of finding new ways to use up the green beans from the garden.
Just like the salads with both broccoli and cauliflower. It's just that I had the broccoflower and it needed to be used up. This is a great salad with lots of color, texture and flavor. You probably could make this even less calories by using a sugar substitue but we like honey and it works well in this recipe
Tasty, almost like Olive Garden's Soupa Touscana. To make it even more like it add chopped spinach or kale towards the end of cooking time.
This is a recipe just for the dressing. Use 2 Tablespoons over a bed of salad greens, 3 large sliced strawberries and 1 oz light feta cheese
Tasty recipe found on a package of fresh asparagus I bought at the store
I use this as a starting off place for making Ranch, coleslaw, Blue Cheese dressings. I even use it plain from time to time. Serving size is 2 Tablespoons
Just your basic comfort food. Mashed potato crust is yummy with added garlic and non fat yogurt instead of sour cream
Plain and simple but what we love. I added sausage flavored TVP to extend the ground beef and add some zip
The thickness of this soup will depend on how much extra water you add while cooking. Make to your own liking.
Something I threw together when I was missing an important ingredient for another recipe.
I use leftover chicken breast to make this. It is a bit dry compared to the usual way chicken salad is made. But you could add a bit more yogurt if desired.
There is nothing like a good bowl of fresh mushroom soup. Use 3 or more varieties to make soup more interesting
Amazing side dish with lots of color and flavor. The special limas and fruity vinegar can be substituted if necessary
Comfort Food on a cold wintery day. I like to use leftover chicken from a roasted hen
I made this to use up some delicious smoked turkey leftover from the holidays. The calories may not be exact in this recipe, due to trouble making exact measurements in how much turkey was used. It was extremely lean and the broth had all visible fat removed
