A creamy, spicy, delicious prawn salad. Low fat and high protein. Terrific on crispbreads, rice cakes, or toast. Also great on salad greens or in a wrap. You could also add pasta or other vegetables as desired.
A creamy and delicious dip for fresh vegetables, crackers, chips or whatever you like. Could also be used as a spread for sandwiches and wraps. Delicious and healthy!
Homemade applesauce... sweet and tangy, the way it should be! Chill and eat plain as a snack, heat it and serve over ice cream or frozen yogurt as a dessert, add to oatmeal in the mornings... the possibilities are endless!
A nice, hearty smokey flavored chunky stew. Best made with homemade chicken stock, but I used stock cubes that I had in the pantry since I didn't have the chicken stock. Homemade chicken stock would reduce the sodium content as listed here.
A very moist and delicious corn muffin! My husband hates cornbread, but loves these. It's a modified Paula Deen recipe.
Not exactly low calorie.... these are the real deal! They aren't too bad for you if you only eat one or two. They are my family's favourite cookies.
