This is an Americanization of a Polish type salad. I think my older Polish relatives would not approve of this short cut method , but I like it a lot. My cousins in Poland served something similar at breakfast with other vegetable salads. Sounds strange maybe but I am now hooked.
Tradtionally this uses real bacon but I often use the turkeybecause it costs less and is lower in fat.
Lithuanian inspired snack. Green onion was not in the choices here so I substituted chives but usually use green onion
