No eggs, just flour, bananas, baking powder, milk and spices.
By no means healthy, but if you just have to have chocolate, it fills the craving and isn't too horrible.
This is a combination of four of the recipes I found on spark to combine a homemade bechamel sauce with lots of veggies (can substitute those you have on hand--mushrooms and/or zucchini would also be good). This makes nine really big servings or twelve smaller ones.
I didn't see any other recipes like this. I used marble rye bread, but you could use any type. I used sliced provolone cheese, but you could use any other. From Secrets of Cooking for Long Life...a great cookbook!
A serving is about 3/4 cup.
serving is 1 latke
You can use it for breakfast or on pizza.
These are yummy. Still have fat, carbs, and sugar, but low in saturated fat.
A chicken noodle soup with ginger
Recipe came from "Dr. Zorba Pasteur, on your health", a PBS radio show.
A "Taste of Home" recipe. I changed the caraway to dill though because I don't care for caraway in bread.
This makes 12 latkes. A serving is 2.
Found this recipe in the Chicago Tribune. I added the chicken breast and corn. I also frequently cook the chicken breasts in water and add the broth to the soup. This says four servings. They would be very large servings...almost 2 cups.
