Shop brought patties are a wee bit expensive - so I decided to make my own.
Came from a recipe using real hash brown potatoes - This is a low car substitute.
This recipe is done as wanted to eat an Omelette and just in case I wanted to repeat it i didn't have to fill it all in again.
I have re-vamped this recipe by using Ground Turkey instead of Ground Beef. (recalculate nutritional values if using the ground beef)
A recipe I have modified for low carb dieters. Something to have for a dessert. Serve with 2 tbsp of whipped topping for a treat.
You can add flour to make the cheese sauce thicker (But watch out for the carb value to rise).
Also you can make this recipe with just 1 1/4 cups of 2% milk instead of the half and half cream and water (the cream has less carbs than milk).
I added the green beans for some colour.
Can also be served over rice or pasta if you are not concerned about the carb values.
I used already cooked chicken leftover from the Roast on Sunday.

Instead of Alfredo Sauce - You can use your favourite pasta sauce - but re-calculate the ingredients.

Try with a low fat/sodium/healthy request soup. This one was what I had at hand.
This makes a good all round meal, and you do not need anything else.
