This pizza is easy and lower in calorie than a lot of pizza we've had... And it's easy to make out of stuff that you might already have on hand (in your pantry or leftovers)
This was a really easy smoothie and a change of pace for fruits to blend with the yogurt, etc. It's very low-fat, very healthy and quite tasty!!
For leftover turkey, this is a quick casserole that's tasty and easy to make.
This is so simple... and great for calorie control... and so nutritious and delicious... I layered the Angelfood cake on the bottom of the pan...topped with Strawberries, etc.. and it makes a pretty dessert that my family really enjoys...
This is my creative version of the Deluxe Moist Devil's Food Cake using cut up Nestle Crunch Jingles (bell shaped) folded into the cake batter before baking. Note: this is a good way to use-up candy left over from Christmas or another holiday.
These Box Brownie-mix turned out really great - but much lower calorie using no oil but apple sauce instead.
This was a great way to make an easy thick crust pizza with healthy ingredients. My family loved it!!
This recipe was passed down from our "Grandma Mary" who has since passed-away. But it will forever to us be known as "Grandma Mary's Jello". It's a great light & tasty dessert that's easy to make.
This fruit & yogurt smoothie has a special addition of creamy peanut butter for extra protein and a unique nutty flavor. My daughter really liked it - and it's healthy. Great for Breakfast or a snack.
This was a really easy and quick way to make chocolate chip pancakes. There are Chocolate chips right in the mix and it makes 16 pancakes if you use 1/8 cup batter per pancake and then figure 2 pancakes per serving.
This muffin mix makes really good pancakes and it's easy and quick.
This is an easy smoothie for one.
This is my "lite-prep" version to prepare this box side-dish. The milk is 2% fat and "I can't believe it's not butter-lite" are used to prepare this.
This was a really quick and easy recipe for making chicken soup and my family really enjoyed it.
This meatball recipe can cook for hours in the slow cooker /crockpot after the meatballs are browned. It's easy and low cal since the Ground Beef used is 90/10 Sirloin. We just used jar sauce but the extra spices and meat cooking in it add to the flavor.
This starts in an electric skillet - and finishes in a crockpot. It's a quick throw-together turkey (low calorie) chili with a lot of flavor.
This is a really easy 3 ingredient recipe for chicken - and low calorie too.
My grandma Lillie gave me this recipe for Banana Bread and it's so easy and one of the best tasting I've ever had. This can be made with butter or margarine -although I made it with Margarine-butter will work too -it just changes the calorie count/nutritional value a little... and Buttermilk can be substituted for the "soured milk" made with the 2% milk and 2 tsps of white vinegar. Nuts can be added too.
This actually doesn't have "potato" in it... it just tastes like a baked potato... with the cheese and bacon on it... Heat it up and keep it in a crockpot for parties, etc...
This Ground Turkey Chili can be made in a Slow Cooker/Crockpot and the recipe can be reduced for less servings. I found making this amount works well for having leftovers for lunches, etc or can be frozen for future dinners.
Tastefully Simple offers this Quick Corn Bread Mix and indicates that the serving size is 1/8 of the loaf - But if you make this into 12 muffins - it goes further to feed your family and reduces the calorie count for the "serving size". It's really easy and you just have to add milk and oil to the mix.
This is a recipe that closely resembles the Kahlua Brownie Dessert from Famous Daves. These brownies are really rich and best served with whipped cream and ice cream - but even though they have a lot of calories - if you share one-serving between 4 or more people it's a nice treat when you have extra calories for your day.
This was a great recipe for using leftover turkey and it was really easy. It didn't take a lot of time to put together either. My family includes 2 teenage boys and we tend to like to have leftovers for lunches, etc., so this recipe can be cut down for a smaller family.
