This meatball recipe can cook for hours in the slow cooker /crockpot after the meatballs are browned. It's easy and low cal since the Ground Beef used is 90/10 Sirloin. We just used jar sauce but the extra spices and meat cooking in it add to the flavor.

My grandma Lillie gave me this recipe for Banana Bread and it's so easy and one of the best tasting I've ever had. This can be made with butter or margarine -although I made it with Margarine-butter will work too -it just changes the calorie count/nutritional value a little... and Buttermilk can be substituted for the "soured milk" made with the 2% milk and 2 tsps of white vinegar. Nuts can be added too.

This Ground Turkey Chili can be made in a Slow Cooker/Crockpot and the recipe can be reduced for less servings. I found making this amount works well for having leftovers for lunches, etc or can be frozen for future dinners.
Tastefully Simple offers this Quick Corn Bread Mix and indicates that the serving size is 1/8 of the loaf - But if you make this into 12 muffins - it goes further to feed your family and reduces the calorie count for the "serving size". It's really easy and you just have to add milk and oil to the mix.
This is a recipe that closely resembles the Kahlua Brownie Dessert from Famous Daves. These brownies are really rich and best served with whipped cream and ice cream - but even though they have a lot of calories - if you share one-serving between 4 or more people it's a nice treat when you have extra calories for your day.
This was a great recipe for using leftover turkey and it was really easy. It didn't take a lot of time to put together either. My family includes 2 teenage boys and we tend to like to have leftovers for lunches, etc., so this recipe can be cut down for a smaller family.
