This is my basic recipe for chicken and dumplings. Sorry if its a bit vague, I kind of cook by feel and have estimated some of the veggie ingredients (except for the peas).
I made this one night in an attempt to add some veggies to my diet. I loved it!
I found these on the food network web site (by Sandra Lee) and changed teh recipe to add old fashioned oats instead of quick and heat smart bisquick instead of regular. I also added unsweetened applesauce and 2 tbsp. flax seed
I love southwestern chicken soup but I had no fresh cilantro and no lime. This would be better with both
