Healthy doesn't have to mean bland. This sauce is flavor RICH and makes a gob. I freeze it in one cup portions so it can be made in advance, thawed and reheated for a quick lunch or dinner in the time it takes to cook the pasta. This is also a HUGE hit with the whole family. Omit or reduce the salt for a lower sodium sauce. The tomato products can also be substituted for "reduced sodium" versions.
