I make this in the crockpot.
This is an easy alternative to buying those little packets.
I was unable to convert the yeast correctly not sure how much .5 oz. is, but the recipe calls for 2 teaspoons of yeast.
This is pretty much an all day recipe as it involves cooking the sauce down and then canning it with a pressure cooker. It makes about 9 pints of sauce.
