I have made this for years and it is really great as a warmer with some nice crusty bread, starter, or base for stews etc, but it really boosts your vegetable intake. It can be frozen and tastes just as good! If you want to add potato or meat to it to you can make it into a main meal. Personally, I enjoy it on its own. You can also use vegetable stock and any herbs that you enjoy, I like the chicken flavour without the meat. Very versatile.
