has no nuts or fruits. Can be used in other granola recipes. Tastes great with yogurt!
Yields 4 cups. I have serving be either 1/4 or 1/3 c depending on what I'm using it with.
If you want sweeter, you can add more honey.

My family always requests this breakfast when it's cold. It's super simple, but warm and filling.
Also, I try to keep my sodium low, so I'll look for the smoked turkey sausage rings with the lowest sodium. Sometimes, I use regular eggs and eggwhites in place of the egg substitute. (it depends on how many eggs I have or how lazy I feel.)
I don't add any salt or pepper because of the smoked sausage.
I serve this with fruit on the side, usually oranges.
Modified version of my sister-in-laws broccoli cheese casserole. Sure way to get my kids to eat broccoli. A little higher in sodium than I like, but can use less Velveeta and unsalted Saltines to help reduce sodium.
