Good way to use up all the extra veggies at the end of the week, and have a nutritional meal at the same time.
Pasty recipie has been with my family for generations. My grandma used to make these all the time when I was a kid. However, she used lard, lots of butter, lots of beef and a boatload of eggs. I attempted to make a healthier version of grandma's favorite recipe. They turned out pretty good, I may tweak a few things, or I welcome any suggestions on how to bring the calorie count down even further.
This was a combination of a few things in my pantry, as well as a few suggestions from the SparkRecipe's baking substitution suggestions. I think they're a wonderful breakfast or dessert item.
This is delicious and pretty easy to make. Plus makes a great presentation with some asparagus or a nice salad on the side.

Great to make ahead on a Sunday -- put in the freezer and take out in the AM's for a late morning/after lunch snack....I could eat this for dessert for how icey/sweet tasty it is!
