I also add other spices: Red Cayene pepper, Chipolte chili pepper, ground black pepper and salt. This is a spicy vegetarian dish with a variety of beans. I mixed the beans ahead of time and couldn't find a mixture on the spark website, so I did my best to estimate.
Here is an experiment with Indian spices and ingredients. This time with lentils.
This combination of vegitables can be flared up with Indian spices of Italian spices. It can also be eaten as is. This recipe is good with fish, eggs, chicken or on noodles!
this is just a simple breakfast or snack that is a good source or protein and fiber.
HIGH IN IRON! Make sure you have enough time. The Chili freezes well. I actually use an indiscriminate amount of a variety of beans such as black beans, lentils, kidney, lima, and great northern, but I cook about a cup of those mixed together into a tasty chili. Also to chili I sometimes add spinach.
I made this dish based off of tasting traditional Indian cuisne and this might not be an authentic recipe, but it is mine and easy.
Boiled altogether for an hour then simmer for three hours.
