These are soft, not hard or crunchy granola bars.
Recipe nutritional value does not include toppings. I usually add a scoop of salsa to my bowl of soup. I have also added grated cheese, tortilla chips and chunks of avocado.
My family doesn't like ricotta cheese. This is our variation.
Nutritional information was based on regular (not light or fat free) ingredients. I want to substitute light ingredients and see the difference.
Found these to be dense, but tasty.
The original recipe called for a lot more butter. I cut it way down and it still tastes great. The sauce can also be poured over rice after cooking chicken.
Very light in texture - not made for roll-out cookies.
This is the meat I use in tacos. Sometiems I add a chopped onion.
