Seriously yummy, easy and only 150 calories!
This nutty dish makes a wonderful bed to place spice foods on.
This fabulously filling and well-rounded dish is almost a one-pot meal all by itself. Since it is all steamed, it is also moistly delicious.
This recipe uses root veggies other than potato to add other nutrients and uses a smaller amount of healthier oil than is typically used. Not being jewish myself, I don't know how satisfactory they are for holidays they are often associated with but they are yummy!
This is a filling way to get dinner done without a meat course!
Add a LITTLE extra flavor to your veggies by pan frying up some turkey bacon while you steam your veggies until they are ALMOST DONE. Then add them to the pan with bacon and stir. The flavor of the bacon permeates the veggies. This IS tastier with real bacon as the flavor is stronger, but healthier with the turkey bacon.
